Vacancy for position OFFICE MANAGER
The Embassy invites application for the Office Manager position, which is responsible for supporting the administration of the daily functions of the Embassy as well as processing Australian passport applications and providing consular assistance to Australians in Nepal.
Term and location: The position is a permanent position based in Kathmandu. The successful candidate will initially be offered a three year contract beginning in September or October 2011.
Minimum required qualification: A relevant Bachelor’s degree with work experience in the development, international, business or public sectors.
Selection criteria include:
• Interpret relevant Australian Government policy guidelines;
• Effectively coordinate the activities of a small office;
• Manage own work with minimal supervision; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
