Reporting in New Media Age

The Australian Embassy, Kathmandu, organised a development program entitled: “Reporting in New Media Age”. The program featured a video conference between journalists in Australia and Nepal aimed at enhancing relations and professional networks between the journalists in the two countries.

Medical equipment handed over to Tamakoshi Hospital

The Australian Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires, Mr Damien Dunn, handed over four units of medical equipment to the Tamakoshi Cooperative Hospital run by the Tamakoshi Sewa Samiti (TSS) and the Manthali Multi-Purpose Cooperatives represented by TSS’s Secretary, Mr Suresh Shrestha.

Australian Ambassador visits projects in Udayapur, Saptari, Siraha and Dhanusha districts

15 serological centrifuges handed over to Nepal Red Cross Society

On Wednesday, 20 February, the Australian Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission, Mr Damien Dunn, handed over 15 units of serological centrifuges to the Central Blood Transfusion Service (CBTS) of the Nepal Red Cross Society represented by Mr Sanjeev Thapa, Chairman of the NRCS.

Australian Ambassador inaugurates FEDO resource centre

Australian Ambassador to Nepal, HE Susan Grace, on Tuesday inaugurated a training and resource center at the headquarters of the Feminist Dalit Organisation (FEDO) in Kathmandu funded under the Embassy's Direct Aid Program at a cost of NPR 639,000 (AUD 7,518).
